About The Position

At Simon Lever, the Business Development & Marketing Associate supports Simon Lever's growth and brand initiatives by executing the strategy and vision set by the Director of Business Development & Marketing. This role coordinates business development activities, firm events, marketing support, internal and external communications, and executive-level administrative support directly to the Director. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 2-4+ years in administrative, executive support, marketing, or business development role preferred
  • Experience supporting an executive, partner, or director directly strongly preferred
  • Strong MS Office proficiency, familiarity with CRM and email marketing platforms, social media platforms and basic graphic design skills in Canva or similar are needed
  • Ability to work occasional evening/early in day event work
  • Highly organized, detailed, collaborative, change oriented, and ability to work with fast paced leader to execute well

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within a professional services or CPA firm is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Business Development & Marketing in executing growth and brand initiatives.
  • Coordinate business development activities and assist with firm, client, and prospect events, while identifying opportunities for process improvement
  • Provide marketing support and execution of strategy, maintain firm website, lead new employee marketing activities, maintain branded merchandise and inventory, assist with sponsorships, employer branding, and community engagement opportunities.
  • Support and create both internal and external communications, including client newsletters, blogs, alerts, and firm-wide updates.
  • Manage and maintain the firm's prospect and customer database (CRM) for marketing and tracking purposes.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating firm website content and ensuring accuracy across marketing channels.
  • Track business development and marketing budget expenses, flagging variances for review.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, meeting materials, and other executive-level documents.
  • Edit, proofread, and ensure consistency and clarity across all firm communications and branded materials.
  • Provide general administrative and executive support to the Director, adapting to shifting priorities and handling confidential information.
