About The Position

S9 Architecture is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to support the firm's marketing, communications, and business development efforts. The position is based in the firm's New York City studio and works directly with firm leadership and architectural teams to coordinate proposals, marketing initiatives, business development activities, and communications. The ideal candidate is highly organized, visually skilled, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines. A background in architecture or architectural design is strongly preferred, as is experience producing high-quality marketing materials within a design-oriented practice. S9 Architecture is a New York City-based architecture and design practice of more than 55 professionals, with work spanning mixed-use developments, multifamily residential, adaptive reuse, workplace, and cultural projects throughout North America. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience.
Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
Experience preparing proposals, qualifications packages, and graphic presentations.
Excellent organizational, writing, editing, and communication skills.
Strong graphic sensibility, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Architectural education or professional experience.
Relevant experience in an architecture or design firm.
Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows and an interest in emerging digital tools.

Responsibilities

Prepare RFP responses, qualifications packages, presentations, portfolios, project sheets, and other marketing materials.
Research prospective clients and projects, maintain contact databases, track opportunities, and coordinate outreach and follow-up activities.
Produce visually compelling materials using Adobe InDesign and related software while maintaining the firm's established graphic standards.
Coordinate award submissions, project announcements, website updates, social media, and press materials.
Organize project information, photography, renderings, resumes, and marketing resources while managing schedules and deadlines.
Use AI and emerging technologies to improve research, content development, information management, and marketing workflows.
