About The Position

Join Synmatch AI's client, an innovative company transforming discarded materials into beautiful, functional architectural panels and surface products. Based in Wales with global reach, they are expanding circular design worldwide. This senior, client-facing role requires a motivated, autonomous professional to own the DACH market strategy, build relationships within the design and construction ecosystem, and drive sustainable revenue growth. You will work with architects, designers, and luxury brands on eco-conscious interiors and architectural spaces. The role combines strategic business development with hands-on client engagement, involving frequent travel within the DACH region for meetings, presentations, and industry events, as well as occasional travel to their Wales factory for training and team meetings. You will have genuine influence over regional business strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (relevant professional experience may substitute).
  • Several years in Business Development/New Business Sales in architecture, interior design, building materials, or design-led manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to grow new business within specification-led markets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with professional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Confident presenting to architects, designers, and commercial stakeholders with ability to communicate technical details clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work activities.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, comfortable working independently in remote role.
  • Fluent German (C1/C2) and English (C1/C2), both verbal and written.
  • Flexible and willing to contribute beyond defined boundaries in growing business.
  • Ready for frequent DACH region travel and occasional Wales visits.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and grow sales opportunities within new and existing customer sectors across the DACH region.
  • Identify potential targets, ideal customer profiles, and market opportunities while qualifying areas for sales growth.
  • Present strategic proposals to support new business revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Work with clients on pricing, proposals, and commercial discussions under Head of Sales guidance.
  • Utilize data and sales systems to provide monthly and annual sales forecasts for new business growth.
  • Work with Head of Sales, production teams, and clients to optimize capacity and fulfill customer requirements.
  • Manage CRM, order book, and accounting systems including quotations, technical advice, and order processing.
  • Represent the company at regional design events, presentations, and client meetings.
  • Liaise with production teams to align stock availability with forecasts and confirmed orders.
  • Regular travel within DACH region and occasional visits to Wales for factory visits and training.
