About The Position

Everfield operates across Europe with offices in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Poland, and Spain. As a Finance Business Partner at Everfield, you will be a crucial member of the Financial Reporting and Analysis team. Collaborating with your Strategic Business Partner, HR Business Partner, and the regional team, you will be responsible for holding the business units in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) accountable for their performance against defined financial KPIs and operating metrics. Your role is vital in achieving Everfield's strategy of driving profitable top-line growth across the portfolio business units. You will leverage your perspective as a Finance Business Partner for the DACH region to help shape, influence, and improve the group's financial and operating data sets and systems. This includes supporting ERP setup and integrations, implementing and analyzing management reporting, and addressing analytics and dashboarding requirements.

Requirements

  • A self-starting personality suited for an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to manage numerous stakeholders across multiple, distinct businesses in varying stages of maturity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Completed university education, ideally supplemented with a further professional finance qualification such as CA, ACA, CIMA, or an equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience within an international or complex environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Controlling, FP&A, or Finance Business Partner role.
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • Strong communication skills in an international, multi-language setting.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to establish strong rapport with senior stakeholders and local leadership teams.

  • Able to travel occasionally across the DACH region and Europe as required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver monthly reporting packs, including management P&L, financial KPIs, and key operating metrics, for each business unit in the DACH region.
  • Prepare Quarterly Update Review packs for presentation and discussion with the Everfield CEO, CFO, and COO.
  • Plan, align, and deliver final annual budgets for each business unit, incorporating long-term expectations and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage a rolling forecast for each portfolio business for the full financial year, incorporating modeled strategic initiatives.
  • Interact with the M&A team and review modeling assumptions for potential acquisitions in the region.
  • Lead, alongside the Strategic Business Partner and HR Business Partner, the day-to-day relationships with the business units in the DACH region.
  • Play an active role in integration activities for newly acquired businesses, including assessing system and data requirements and helping to design reporting solutions, in collaboration with the Integration Director and the Head of BI.
  • Support weekly sales pipeline reporting and reviews.
  • Manage your own team, including a Regional Financial Controller, on day-to-day activities.
