About The Position

The Business Development Associate is responsible for supporting the company’s growth initiatives by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and assisting with sales and operational strategies. This position works closely with internal teams and external partners to promote company services, expand market presence, and contribute to revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing schedules and operational demands.
  • Ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require.
  • Work in a typical office environment, sitting at a desk and performing prolonged computer work, with occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate in person, by phone, and electronically, including on a tablet, smartphone, and other office technology.
  • Travel as required to support project and operational needs.
  • Perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support company growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and business partners.
  • Assist in developing and implementing business development strategies and sales initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and potential opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, contracts, and business correspondence for prospective and existing clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to support client needs and business objectives.
  • Participate in networking events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote company services and strengthen professional relationships.
  • Monitor business development performance metrics and assist in preparing reports for management review.
  • Support customer onboarding, contract coordination, and account management activities as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and professional standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and timely follow-up to clients and prospective customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
