About The Position

This full-time position is responsible for forging profitable relationships within your assigned territory. The role involves actively seeking out potential clients, demonstrating why Patrick Allen Companies is the best fit for their needs, and collaborating with the project management team to create, review, and implement job proposals. The Business Development and Sales Rep will learn the Sandler methodology, stay updated on industry trends, and develop effective sales strategies. Travel to local facilities, plants, and distribution centers is required to meet with prospects.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales and prospecting new business.
  • Computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) practices.
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Self-starter attitude with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Problem-solving skills, ability to take constructive feedback, and desire to improve.
  • Ability to make sales calls on active construction sites, in unairconditioned industrial facilities, and working outdoors.
  • Must pass all required background and drug screening checks.
