Business Development Analyst Internship

About The Position

Analytica is seeking a motivated student for a part-time internship supporting a rapidly growing federal systems integrator in the Washington, DC Metro Area. The intern will join a close-knit, productive team and gain experience with data, reporting, strategic account planning, and opportunity planning. The role provides firsthand exposure to using data to inform sales planning, strategy, and outcomes, and contributes to marketing and growth campaigns.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in a related field.
Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Skill with standard computer applications and platforms, including Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Conduct business analysis to support Growth and Proposal efforts across the business development lifecycle.
Research market trends across industries and for specific partner agencies.
Assist with special projects in the Growth department.
Assist with ad hoc reporting and other tasks.
Conduct research such as competitive intelligence, contracts and task order research, teaming partner analysis, and market trend research.
Attend meetings, record essential information, establish action items, and assign task leads.
Use the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system to log new opportunities, accounts, and contacts.
Support staff with ad hoc research and analysis.
Gather contracts intelligence data from industry research databases such as USAspending and SAM.gov.
Conduct market analysis and teaming partner activities.
