Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional or relative certification or obtains within one year of employment.
  • Experience in business continuity and/or emergency preparedness, response, and recovery, preferably in health care or hospital operations
  • IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800 training

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans to safeguard Ascension and its affiliates against operational disruptions.
  • Conduct strategic risk assessments and contingency planning to minimize downtime and protect critical business functions.
  • Ensure all recovery strategies meet industry regulatory requirements and organizational standards during and after a crisis.
  • Collaborate with corporate entities and facilities to communicate resilience strategies and maintain seamless operational continuity.
