About The Position

Westminster Christian Academy is seeking a Business & Communications Teacher for the 2027-28 school year. The ideal candidate will be driven by excellence, care deeply about students, and be willing to develop healthy, nurturing relationships. Westminster Christian Academy, founded in 1976, is an independent, coeducational school serving 970 students in grades 7-12, located on a 70-acre campus in suburban St. Louis County, Missouri. The school's mission is to honor Jesus Christ by providing an excellent education rooted in biblical truth for the children of Christian parents, enabling students to integrate a biblical worldview into all areas of life. The Upper School Business Teacher will be part of the Business & Communications team, utilizing a project-based curriculum to foster problem-solving and innovation skills in general business, accounting, and economics. This role involves collaborating with a small team to develop innovative teaching approaches and will include a course load of three unique preps.

Requirements

• A clear testimony of a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ
• Membership or faithful attendance at an approved Protestant church congregation
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education or Business
• Ability to collaborate well with colleagues
• Ability to work well independently
• Strong professional or collegiate references
• Two professional references submit our Faculty Candidate Evaluation on their behalf
• One Pastor Reference submitted on their behalf

Nice To Haves

• Experience in secondary school setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Use a project-based curriculum to develop students’ problem solving and innovation skills in the fields of general business, accounting and economics.
