About The Position

Park Place Finance is seeking a hands-on Business Systems and Automation Specialist to help manage and improve the technology supporting its lending operations. The role works with HubSpot, internal applications, SQL reporting, system integrations, and day-to-day application support. This position is suited to an early-career professional who enjoys understanding business operations, solving technical problems, and turning manual processes into reliable tools and workflows. The specialist partners with business leaders and users to gather requirements, deliver improvements, and document how systems work, with technical review and specialist support for more complex changes. Success in the role means providing responsive application support with clear request priorities and status updates; keeping HubSpot data and workflows accurate, documented, and useful; maintaining reliable internal tools and automations; testing, documenting, and appropriately reviewing new features; and reducing manual work while improving visibility into lending operations.

Requirements

1–3 years of relevant experience in business systems, CRM administration, software development, automation, technical operations, or a related role.
Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM, including workflows, reporting, and data management.
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including the ability to write queries and investigate data issues.
Practical coding ability in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, including the ability to read, troubleshoot, and modify existing code.
Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, JSON, and connecting applications through scripts or automation tools.
Ability to explain technical issues clearly, gather requirements from business users, prioritize requests, and document completed work.
Careful handling of sensitive information and sound judgment about access, testing, and when a change needs additional review.
Willingness to learn lending operations and understand how system changes affect users, data, and the loan process.

Nice To Haves

Experience in mortgage lending, private lending, business-purpose lending, fintech, or financial services.
Direct HubSpot administration experience, including integrations, custom objects, or relevant certifications.
Experience with AI Development, Git, application deployments, and maintaining AI-assisted development projects.
Experience with loan origination systems or lending-related reporting and integrations.
A relevant degree; it is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Manage and improve the technology supporting lending operations, including HubSpot, internal applications, SQL reporting, and system integrations.
Provide day-to-day application support and respond to user requests with clear priorities and status updates.
Work with business leaders and users to understand requirements and deliver system and workflow improvements.
Maintain accurate, documented, and useful HubSpot data and workflows.
Build and support internal tools and automations, and identify and resolve failures promptly.
Test, document, and obtain appropriate review for new features and system changes.
Reduce manual work and improve visibility into lending operations.
Document how systems work and handle sensitive information carefully, using sound judgment about access, testing, and when changes need additional review.
