About The Position

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB and functions as the first-line Information Technology Development manager within DTMB’s Agency Services supporting DHHS for the Administration & Departmental Solutions division. This area is primarily responsible for providing new development oversight across several applications and platforms including, but not limited to, vendor developed solutions and Microsoft Cloud Technologies such as Dynamics 365 and PowerApps. DTMB does not participate in STEM-OPT.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree with not less than 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
  • Three years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure, Programmer/Analyst or IT Project Coordinator P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure, Programmer/Analyst or IT Project Coordinator 12.
  • Three years of experience as a computer programming supervisor or Information Technology Supervisor may be substituted for the education and experience.

Benefits

  • This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $3,500. Up to $1,750 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.
