About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Business Analyst to support process improvement, requirements analysis, and policy interpretation across the VA Medical Disability Exam (MDE) program. The program provides Veterans with timely, accurate, and thorough medical examinations. In this role, the Business Analyst will assess the impacts of changes and help prioritize and communicate technical changes to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• More than 5 years of business or process analysis experience.
• Experience with Agile and SAFe methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and hold a public trust position and favorable suitability based on a background investigation.

Nice To Haves

• Six Sigma or Lean certification.
• PMI PMP certification.
• Experience supporting Federal government, healthcare, or other highly regulated environments.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as HIPAA or FedRAMP.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, including current-state analysis, gap analysis, benchmarking, identification of best practices, and improvement opportunities.
• Document functional requirements for system or process changes.
• Coordinate with business and technology teams to assess change impacts and help prioritize technical changes.
• Develop stakeholder communications, as needed, to support software releases, enhancements, and application changes or upgrades.
• Interpret and translate policy changes into operational guidance.
• Support cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
