About The Position

Our client is seeking an assertive, delivery-focused Business Analyst to support a Project Manager on network automation and analytics initiatives. The Business Analyst will drive follow-ups, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage Agile documentation, and keep tasks and deliverables on track. The role requires strong communication, ownership, accountability with stakeholders, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This is a hybrid, full-time, six-month contract role based in Plano, Texas, with onsite work three days per week. Compensation is $55 per hour, based on experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Requirements

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Assertive, proactive, and results-oriented approach to driving deliverables.
• Experience with Jira, Agile documentation, and backlog management.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work onsite in Plano, TX, three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily follow-ups with engineering, operations, and vendor teams to keep projects moving forward.
• Represent the Project Manager in status meetings and working sessions as needed.
• Create and maintain user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Manage backlog updates, track action items, and follow up with task owners to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare concise project updates for leadership and proactively identify risks and blockers.
• Support vendor spend tracking, budget forecasting, and invoice management as needed.
