About The Position

This is a hybrid position based at our beautiful corporate office located in Brentwood, TN, with on-site work required Monday through Wednesday. The Business Analyst will drive the day-to-day development of key analysis to support stakeholder objectives, ensuring that insights meet the business needs of Surgery Partners. They will collaborate with internal teams (developers and data engineers) to translate complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decisions. The role involves analyzing structured and unstructured healthcare data to identify trends, opportunities, and operational performance metrics. A deep understanding of underlying data models, inputs, and definitions is crucial for accurate analysis and reporting. The Business Analyst will also work with stakeholders to refine data definitions and establish a consistent approach to data interpretation and usage. Building understanding of data visualizations, tools, and creating reports that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is a key responsibility. Collaboration with Business Intelligence (BI) developers to produce interactive dashboards and other analytical products that align with business needs and are intuitive, accurate, and aligned with end-user requirements is expected. The Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between the BI team and business stakeholders, understanding their data needs and aligning expectations, prioritizing data requests based on organizational goals and resource availability, and training and supporting stakeholders in navigating BI reports and tools.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
1 - 3 years of experience in a business analyst or data analyst role, preferably in a healthcare setting
Proficient in Excel
Familiarity with Sigma, PowerBI, and / or data visualization tools.
Basic understanding of data modeling, statistical analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to a variety of stakeholders.
Intellectual curiosity, fast learner, attention to detail

Responsibilities
