About The Position

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria. The contract duration of VIE is between 6 to 24 months. A VIE for a Business Analyst (Material Management Industrialization Platform (MMIP)) has arisen within Satair USA in Herndon, VA. You will join the Commercial and Support department. As a member of the ASC (SATAIR USA, Inc) team you will contribute to an initiative aiming at execution the Customer Collaboration Stream of MMIP (Airbus' multi-year transformation to standardize and modernize how Material Management services are delivered across Airbus, Satair, FHS and other Material Management entities). The Customer Collaboration Stream establishes the digital customer interaction layer of Material Management, including portals, customer service channels, and machine-to-machine integration capabilities. The objective is to unify fragmented customer touchpoints into a consistent digital ecosystem enabling self-service, automation, and scalable customer interaction across Material Management services. The Transformation Streams are responsible for delivering the core customer interaction capabilities, including the Material Management Customer Portal, Sales Excellence, and Service Excellence platforms. The Business Analyst will be mainly involved in the following developments with the main focus on Key Performance Indicator and Performance Management of the various Transformation Streams.

Requirements

  • University degree in the field of Business Administration, Project Management or similar (Required)
  • Data analytics and performance management
  • Experience with process management tools.
  • Familiarity with Google workspace
  • Good awareness of Lean/six sigma principles, methods and tools
  • Understanding of change management basics and ability to adapt ways of tutoring accordingly
  • Ability to provide structured feedback to leaders on routines management and performance dialogue
  • Ability to identify deviations from standards and propose simple recommendations through self-assessment
  • Fluency in English
  • Language Skills: advanced level of English

Responsibilities

  • Implement and improve boards & routines with stream leaders to map the following: Prepare phase/program readiness: Are we structurally ready to start the Explore phase? % Scope defined and approved % Workstreams with governance and delivery model established Resource readiness - % of key roles staffed Tool readiness - are we all set up in E7, confluence, etc. Explore phase - fit to standard & design maturity % of business processes covered in fit-to-standard workshops % of processes accepted as standard vs. requiring customization number of open design decisions Design-off rate % approved by business and architecture Number of identified gaps (standard vs. requirement)
  • Assist in Risk burndown
  • Track Completion rate per deliverable
  • Schedule Performance
  • Complete monthly weekly and monthly update status for reporting.
