About The Position

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Business Analyst / Tester in Washington, DC. The role analyzes and synthesizes business requirements, recognizes patterns, and conceptualizes and designs business processes. The Business Analyst develops technical expertise across the delivery lifecycle, including participating in agile ceremonies, translating business and technical needs into actionable work items, and providing reporting and analysis to guide continuous improvement. The position also supports testing, application users, documentation, and the Scrum Master and other team members.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional work experience as a Business Analyst.
• Ability to create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries, and updates.
• Experience with full lifecycle development using Waterfall and Agile.
• Understanding of client business needs, user story and requirements gathering, and testing phases.
• Knowledge of application functionality and current computer technology.
• Active TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify functional requirements and create user stories.
• Test developed stories and ensure application quality.
• Prepare for and participate in internal design sessions.
• Solve problems and provide technical support to application end users.
• Develop and maintain documentation and training materials.
• Assist the Scrum Master and other team members when needed.
• Translate business and technical needs into actionable work items.
• Provide reporting and analysis to guide continuous improvement.
