About The Position

The Business Analyst/Tester identifies functional requirements, creates user stories, tests developed stories, and supports application quality assurance. The role participates in internal design sessions, resolves problems, and provides technical support to application end users. It also develops and maintains documentation and training materials, and assists the Scrum Master and other team members as needed. The position is based at a client site in Washington, D.C., four days per week, with the option to work remotely one day per week. An active Top Secret clearance is required.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of work experience, including internships.
• Clear written communication and documentation skills.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Beginner proficiency in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Beginner proficiency in manual testing.
• Beginner proficiency in Agile project management.
• Beginner proficiency in business requirements analysis.
• Beginner proficiency in Jira ticketing.
• Report to the client site four days per week; one day of remote work is available.
• Applicants are subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with an Agile framework and working on a Kanban or Scrum team.
• Experience creating and monitoring tasks in JIRA.
• Application or software testing experience.
