About The Position

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed Business Analyst/Tester to support a government client. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team, contribute the expertise needed to deliver project deliverables, and communicate status and progress effectively to staff at all levels. The role is performed onsite in Washington, DC, and requires U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Top Secret clearance.
• At least 1 year of work experience, including internships.
• Beginner experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Beginner experience with manual testing.
• Beginner experience with Agile project management.
• Beginner experience with business requirements analysis.
• Beginner experience with Jira ticketing.
• Clear written communication and documentation skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Ability to develop strong client relationships.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with an Agile framework and working on a Kanban or Scrum team.
• Experience creating and monitoring tasks in JIRA.
• Application or software testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify functional requirements and create user stories.
• Test developed stories and ensure application quality assurance.
• Prepare for and participate in internal design sessions.
• Solve problems and provide technical support to application end users.
• Develop and maintain documentation and training materials.
• Assist the Scrum Master and other team members as needed.
