About The Position

Prowess Consulting is seeking a curious, motivated, and highly self-directed Business Analyst/Operations Support Administrator to join their growing team. This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who can handle various tasks, including requirements gathering, validation of changes, process improvement, activity planning and orchestration, operational problem-solving, and team support. The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity, can quickly identify the core of a problem, and proactively determines the next steps. This individual will thrive across multiple projects and stakeholders, enjoy solving new and unfamiliar problems, and be capable of taking ownership and driving initiatives forward. The role requires residing in the greater Seattle area and will involve being on-site 1-2 days per week. This is a full-time, hybrid role, and collaboration with teammates across various US time zones is essential.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated, recent experience creating and using PowerBI dashboards.
  • Previous experience working with teams as a business analyst, including operational support.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Analytic mindset & problem solver.
  • Ability to take an unclear problem, structure it, and determine the right next steps.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and follow through.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Ability to move comfortably between detail and the bigger picture.

Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements and translate business needs and ideas into clear requirements, plans, and actions, with a main scope in reporting using PowerBI, utilizing Dynamics 365 (D365) for customer engagements, and creating wireframes or mockups for the development team.
  • Execute validation, testing, and support user roll-out of new features or changes.
  • Test new features from the development team to ensure functionality, adherence to requirements, and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate and orchestrate closely with developers, product managers, insights teams, and end users to refine requirements and define quality metrics.
  • Document updates within Dynamics and SharePoint.
  • Facilitate and conduct short training sessions for users.
  • Support broader team priorities as needed, including planning of workshops, meetings, events, communications, documentation, SharePoint updates, and other operational activities.
  • Take ownership of new, unfamiliar, or ambiguous problems, quickly determine the necessary actions, and drive them to a practical outcome.
