Bus Rider (Substitute), Special Education
About The Position
Perform routine monitoring on school buses and provide assistance to passengers, including students with special needs, and the bus driver during daily school transportation routes. Support the safety and welfare of students with special needs, including intervening to prevent student behavior from escalating on the bus. Ensure students are safely loaded and unloaded at destinations. The role may also include maintaining hygienic standards on the bus, such as cleaning and sanitizing seats, belts, and floors. Work as part of a team with the school bus driver and perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Equivalent of completion of the twelfth grade.
- No minimum experience requirement.
- Submit a formal letter of introduction, a resume, and one professional letter of recommendation; the recommendation letter must be signed and dated by its author.
Responsibilities
