Bus Aide - Special Education Substitute Pool
About The Position
The Redlands Unified School District is seeking substitute bus aides to assist special education students while they are on school buses. Aides help students board and exit the bus, secure them in their seats, assist with some medical needs (training will be provided), and monitor student behavior. Work hours vary and may start early in the morning before school, midday, or in the afternoon. Applicants must provide complete reference contact information, including each reference’s first and last name, phone number, and email address; at least one supervisor reference is preferred. Applicants must also attach CPR/First Aid certification and unofficial transcripts or a diploma showing high school graduation or GED. Applicants who do not complete these requirements will be removed from the substitute pool. Applications and supporting documents must be submitted through EdJoin; paper applications and documents sent by fax or email are not accepted.
