About The Position

Canonita, located in the Venetian Resort, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Bus Person to join its restaurant team. The Bus Person delivers genuine, personable hospitality and service, helping create memorable dining experiences. This role is critical to the guest experience and is responsible for keeping the restaurant clean, orderly, and stocked for guests and team members.

Requirements

• High school education.
• Ability to communicate in English by speaking, reading, and writing.
• Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
• Competencies include adaptability and flexibility, attention to detail, communication, confidence, customer focus, initiative, problem solving, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver genuine hospitality and establish emotional connections with guests.
• Contribute to the restaurant’s teamwork and overall success.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards.
• Ensure the interior and exterior of the restaurant are clean.
• Set and reset tables to guest-ready standards in a timely manner.
• Sweep floors throughout the restaurant.
• Carry dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware to the dish area for cleaning.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and alert a manager immediately.
• Communicate with managers and hosts about table availability and key table updates.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Demonstrate a professional and gracious demeanor at all times.
• Accurately perform opening, running, and closing duties.
• Perform job functions requested by the management team.
