About The Position

The Bus Person assists with the setup, operation, and cleanup of the restaurant. The role supports wait staff and helps provide guests with an atmosphere of exceptional service and professionalism, enhancing their dining experience. The position is in the Grille at Nisqually Red Wind Casino and requires the ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Native American hiring preference applies.

Requirements

• Food Handler’s Permit.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude.
• Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain a Class II gaming license.
• Able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and continuously.
• Able to stand and/or walk for long periods and move from area to area in the kitchen.
• Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Assist wait staff when needed.
• Pre-bus, clear, and reset tables during and at the conclusion of each course according to established standards.
• Set up the bus station.
• Ensure flatware and glassware are polished.
• Cook off bread at the start of and during the shift.
• Perform other duties as asked.
