About The Position

The Bus Person delivers genuine hospitality through personable conversation and service, helping create a positive overall guest experience. The role ensures the restaurant environment is clean, orderly, sanitized, and stocked for guests and team members. The Bus Person works collaboratively with restaurant staff, communicates with guests, team members, managers, and hosts, and completes opening, running, and closing duties.

Requirements

High school education.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Adaptability and flexibility to changing business needs, responsibilities, situations, and customer needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver genuine hospitality and establish emotional connections with guests.
Contribute to the overall teamwork and success of the restaurant.
Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards.
Ensure the interior and exterior of the restaurant are clean.
Set and reset tables to guest-ready condition in a timely manner.
Sweep floors throughout the restaurant.
Carry dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware to the dish area for cleaning.
Handle guest complaints professionally and immediately alert a manager.
Communicate with managers and hosts about table availability and key table updates.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
Demonstrate a professional and gracious demeanor at all times.
Accurately perform opening, running, and closing duties.
Perform job functions requested by the management team.
