About The Position

This position is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of children enrolled in a PMS Children Services Program. The driver maintains the vehicle in a safe and clean condition and completes transportation-related training. The role requires a valid commercial driver’s license and specified endorsements, current medical and driving records, and compliance with applicable PMS policies and state and federal laws. First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already held. The position also requires health examinations, TB testing, criminal background checks, and applicable drug and alcohol testing.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Have or be able to obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications within 30 days of hire; certifications must meet PMS requirements and be kept current.
• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Class A, B, or C and a P endorsement.
• Have an S endorsement or obtain it within 30 days of employment.
• Provide and maintain a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation 3.91.43.
• Provide a current motor vehicle record, submit to motor vehicle record checks as needed, and maintain a satisfactory driving record within PMS policy and applicable law.
• Complete required health examinations, TB testing, criminal background checks, and applicable drug and alcohol testing.
• Comply with PMS policies on automobile usage, drug-free workplace, and drug and alcohol testing, as well as applicable state and federal laws.
