About The Position
The Bury Drop Supervisor at DCOMM oversees underground bury drop operations, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely job completion. This role provides hands-on leadership to field crews, supports subcontractors, and works closely with operations management to meet company and client requirements, including Spectrum compliance standards.
Requirements
- 21+ years old with valid driver’s license and clean record
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Must speak and write English clearly
- Underground construction experience (trenching, cabling, easements)
- Knowledge of 811 One Call and utility regulations
- Ability to operate trenchers, bore machines, and hand tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work outdoors in all conditions

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate field crews and subcontractors
- Ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards
- Support Spectrum 2-day compliance requirements and job completion goals
- Conduct inspections, quality checks, and provide field coaching
- Enforce safety policies and 811 One Call compliance
- Assist with damage claims, field issues, and customer concerns
- Oversee equipment use, materials, and job site resources
- Assist with reporting, updates, and communication with management
