About The Position

The Bullpen Coordinator is responsible for ensuring team adherence to facility policies and procedures in case and layer pick areas. This role involves working with the Inventory Control Coordinator to resolve inventory discrepancies and damage, operating forklift equipment safely, and covering Shipping Coordinator breaks as needed. The position requires data entry in various software programs, completion of clerical duties, and providing updates to the Leadership team regarding issues in the pick area, including recurring problems or issues caused by the opposite shift. The Bullpen Coordinator will also perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and assist the Shift Supervisor in daily operations, including OS&Ds, bay consolidation, and RFT troubleshooting. A key responsibility is managing shift operations in the absence of the Shift Supervisor, which includes directing LTOs and coordinating workflow. Reliable attendance and adherence to safety and security standards are critical.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years related experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Strong computer or tablet skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).
  • Must be familiar with WMS.
  • Forklift Certification.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • Familiarity with Red Prairie SAP or other similar systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures team is adhering to the facility policies and procedures in regards to the case and layer pick areas.
  • Works with Inventory Control Coordinator to correct inventory discrepancies and damage.
  • Operates forklift equipment safely.
  • Covers Shipping Coordinator breaks as needed.
  • Completes data entry in various software programs.
  • Completes clerical duties as assigned.
  • Provides updates to Leadership team concerning issues in the pick area, including recurring problems or issues caused by someone on the opposite shift.
  • Performs additional duties as needed to assist Shift Supervisor in daily operations, including OS&Ds, bay consolidation, RFT troubleshooting, etc.
  • Performs additional duties assigned by Operations Manager.
  • Manage shift operations when Shift Supervisor is absent, directing LTOs, coordinating workflow, etc.
  • Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
  • Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
