About The Position

Athletes Unlimited (AU) owns and operates professional women’s leagues in softball, volleyball, and basketball, focusing on world-class competition and fan experience. AU is distinguished by its athlete-driven model, featuring athlete representation on its board, Player Executive Committees leading each league, and profit-sharing for players. As the first professional sports league structured as a Public Benefit Corporation, AU is committed to shaping policies that support its female athletes. In June 2025, AU launched the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL), a premier professional women's softball league. By 2026, the AUSL will expand with additional teams, transition to a fully city-based model with team owners, and enhance fan and partner engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience and familiarity with the game of softball.
  • Ability to do physical tasks.
  • Minimum of college playing experience at the catcher position.
  • Applicants must be local to the Greenville, NC area.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Comfortable performing job duties outdoors in summer weather, including exposure to heat, humidity, and direct sunlight.
  • Able to stand for duration of each shift (approximately 4 hours) while performing job-related tasks.
  • Able to catch pitches ranging from 60-80mph.

  • Support the AUSL Pro Game at the Little League Softball World Series on August 5, 2026.
  • Catch pitches ranging from 60-80mph.

  • Stand for the duration of each shift (approximately 4 hours) while performing job-related tasks.
