About The Position

Owens Corning, a global company with a local presence in North Platte, is seeking dynamic individuals to join their team. This role involves working on the production line to catch doors coming out of the trim saw, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• Familiarity with machinery.
• Good math and measurement skills.
• Knowledge of proper door sizes and identification of reject doors.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Good attendance and safety records.
• Solid teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High attention to detail.

• Ability to work accurately, thoroughly, and meet deadlines.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Catch doors coming out of the trim saw, along with a co-worker.
• Grab the proper pallet for doors to be stacked on.
• Check for reject doors and place them to one side.
• Clean up work area when shift ends using LOTO procedures.
• Assist with downstacking during downtime.
• Perform any other task assigned by the Supervisor.
