About The Position

This role involves operating a folder machine to catch folded leaflets, arrange them for packaging, and ensure quality control. The position requires adherence to production goals, safety procedures, and quality standards within a printing environment. The operator will also be responsible for paperwork, sampling, boxing, labeling, and potentially training other team members.

Requirements

Verbal and written professional communication skill.
Attention to detail
Able to read a ruler to 1/64”.
Good mathematical aptitude.
Able to read, write, and speak English.
Team Player
Initiative.
Problem Solving/Analysis.
Time Management.
Knowledge of printing production.
High School Diploma

Nice To Haves

Folder Operations background is preferred.
Background with gluing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately complete all needed paperwork needed for traceability of the job.
Operate folder in a manner that prevents damage to the equipment, a safe manner that prevents injury to self and others, and complies to daily production goals.
Follow all procedures, 6S, and cGMP’s as required.
Pull samples for documented inspection and customer requirement.
Get QA sign off for job.
Catch folded leaflets as they come out of the folder and arrange for packaging.
Constantly monitor quality and size of finished leaflets during running.
Box and label folded product for application or shipping depending on next stage.
Training other co-workers as needed for production demands.
Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Lead/Supervisor/Manager.
