About The Position

Eden Valley Poultry Inc. is seeking permanent, quality-focused Chicken Catchers to catch poultry. The role ensures adherence to the highest standards of animal welfare. The language of work is English. Training and all personal protective equipment will be provided. Employer will provide LMIA.

Requirements

• Capable of understanding English documents and safety manuals.
• Ability to work overnight shifts 5-6 nights per week.
• Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma preferred.
• One-year experience is considered an asset, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Catching and loading live chicken and turkey into crates
• Following strict procedures related to animal welfare, operating standards, and safe work procedures.
