About The Position

Weymouth Public Schools seeks a Building Substitute to provide coverage for classroom teachers or other staff members when they are absent. The substitute performs the daily responsibilities and duties of the staff member they are covering and may be assigned to assist wherever needed in the school building. The position is paid on a per diem basis at a rate of $115 per day and is benefits eligible. Requirements

A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Instruct classes by following teachers’ lesson plans.
Perform regular daily duties assigned by the building principal or their designee.
Fill in for classroom teachers or other staff members during their absences and perform their daily responsibilities and duties.
Follow Weymouth Public Schools policies and procedures.
