About The Position

The Building Security Guard is responsible for circulating throughout the Xfinity Mobile Arena while on duty and helping maintain the security and integrity of the building. The role includes monitoring and documenting activity, patrolling inside and outside the premises, responding to issues dispatched by the Command Center Supervisor, and working cooperatively with security personnel, building staff, employees, and guests. The guard may work various assignments and must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report everything that occurs during the shift to the Command Center Supervisor.
• Document incidents and provide accurate information.
• Walk the premises, inside and outside, to ensure the building is secure.
• Perform probe tours on all shifts to ensure the integrity of the Complex.
• Respond to issues as dispatched by the Command Center Supervisor.
• Work with Base Building staff, employees, and guests on a daily basis.
• Review Post Orders and the Read File regularly.
• Check bags for contraband.
• Lock and unlock doors as requested by the Command Center Supervisor.
• Work cooperatively with other Security personnel as a security team.
• Display professionalism while interacting within the building.
• Work various assignments inside and outside the building.
• Issue visitor passes through the visitor management system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
