About The Position

Grandscape is hiring a Building Maintenance Technician III to help maintain buildings, HVAC equipment, and facilities equipment at its retail and lifestyle destination. The position helps keep business operations running efficiently. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with Saturday and Sunday off. Night, weekend, and/or early-morning work may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• Two years of experience with heating, air conditioning and ventilation, concrete repair, light electrical work, and plumbing.
• Extensive knowledge of codes and regulations governing HVAC, fire suppression systems, plumbing, and electrical installations.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently as needed.
• Ability to operate basic shop equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work night, weekend, and/or early-morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes motor vehicle records and a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Relevant coursework in heating, air conditioning, ventilation, mechanical repair, or carpentry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign work as needed, maintain detailed records of maintenance performed, and complete scheduled reports for instrumental equipment.
• Plan and perform comprehensive property inspections and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Inspect work before and after scheduled maintenance to ensure vendors have completed the agreed-upon scope satisfactorily.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls on heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors, tenants, and other interested parties to schedule and/or complete maintenance and repairs.
