About The Position

The Building Maintenance Tech II maintains buildings, HVAC equipment, and facilities equipment at Grandscape, a retail and destination lifestyle center. The role performs routine repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, event-space setup and teardown, and seasonal snow and ice treatment. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with Saturday and Sunday off. Night, weekend, and/or early-morning work may be needed based on business needs.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of building maintenance, custodial, general, or labor experience.
• Technical or trade school classes in a related field.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work night, weekend, and/or early-morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes motor vehicle records and a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic carpentry skills preferred.
• Painting skills preferred.
• Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
• Plumbing knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs and maintenance, including lighting, drywall, painting, and door hardware.
• Complete preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs for HVAC and fire suppression systems throughout the property.
• Conduct daily property inspections of roofs, restrooms, lighting, signage, and service yards.
• Assist with setting up and tearing down event spaces.
• Inspect, maintain, and service exterior systems and equipment.
• Perform seasonal snow removal and ice treatment.
