  • 3+ years of professional Autodesk Revit/BIM experience.
  • 3+ years of professional Autodesk AutoCAD experience.
  • Strong proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D BIM modeling, including creation, modification, and maintenance of project drawings and models.
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • Experience with clash detection and BIM coordination, including identifying, reviewing, and resolving clashes within the assigned project scope.
  • Knowledge of Revit views, sheets, families, links, worksets, shared coordinates, parameters, and model organization.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD layers, blocks, XREFs, layouts, annotation, and plotting.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and other construction documentation relevant to the assigned scope.
  • Experience supporting active construction or technology projects and producing customer-facing drawing packages.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Fundamental computer proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Ability to travel 10–20%.
  • Ability to participate in BIM coordination meetings across North American time zones as project needs require.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, Revizto, Bluebeam Revu, Revit family creation, model federation, and shared-coordinate workflows.
  • Experience or familiarity with data centers, MEP modeling, structured cabling, telecommunications, security, audiovisual, or other technology infrastructure.
  • Experience with data center infrastructure, including equipment racks, cabinets, network infrastructure, cable pathways, conduit routing, and overhead/underfloor infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and maintain Autodesk Revit models and AutoCAD drawings for technology and low-voltage systems using customer information, project requirements, sketches, markups, redlines, PDFs, and existing documentation.
  • Model technology infrastructure such as equipment, devices, racks, cabinets, cable tray, conduit, pathways, and telecommunications infrastructure within the assigned project scope.
  • Maintain model accuracy and LOD 300 to LOD 500 according to contractual and project requirements.
  • Perform BIM coordination and clash detection; identify, review, coordinate, and resolve clashes within the assigned scope, and participate in BIM coordination meetings as required.
  • Coordinate BIM model content with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other trade models, and review federated models for coordination concerns affecting the assigned scope.
  • Maintain Revit model organization, including families, views, sheets, links, worksets, shared coordinates, parameters, naming conventions, and project standards.
  • Create and revise technology drawing packages, potentially including floor plans, telecommunications and equipment layouts, pathway and infrastructure drawings, rack and equipment elevations, enlarged plans, details, schedules, riser diagrams, and schematics.
  • Maintain AutoCAD drawing standards, including layers, blocks, external references, title blocks, sheet numbering, annotations, plotting requirements, and file organization.
  • Update drawings and models through project revisions, construction changes, and closeout, including creating record and as-built documentation from verified information.
  • Use BIM and coordination platforms such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, and Revizto as required by the project or customer.
  • Evaluate assigned BIM coordination issues to identify modeling or drafting requirements, missing project information, or issues requiring coordination with another discipline; track issues through resolution and update models after technical direction is provided.
  • Work with internal project teams, sales, customers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to deliver project work that meets customer timelines and expectations.
