About The Position

The Buena Vista Team Member supports car wash operations by safely preparing and loading vehicles, assisting guests, maintaining equipment and facilities, and completing operational and cleaning tasks. The role is accountable for the stated KPIs and company values: Excellence, Hard work, Stewardship, Difference, and Community. Team members are expected to follow company policies and Champion safety procedures, attend mandatory training and team meetings, and perform other duties assigned by management. The position is eligible for cash and digital tips.

Requirements

Knowledge of property safety and layouts, including what not to wash.
Knowledge of tunnel equipment and emergency-stop locations.
Ability to work in all weather conditions, including cold, heat, wet conditions, rain, and snow.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to be on your feet 100% of the day and work outside.
Fluency in the LEAP Conflict Resolution process.

Responsibilities

Greet guests as they approach the car wash tunnel and engage with each guest using the 4 Steps of Service.
Safely guide and load vehicles according to size, inspect vehicles before washing, prepare vehicles with the bug prep gun, and remove mud from wheel wells when appropriate.
Make key adjustments to car wash equipment and communicate key vehicle information and equipment retractions to the crew.
Handle tunnel incidents effectively and safely, and know the locations of emergency stops.
Provide vacuum service and observe the vacuum area to support guest satisfaction.
Explain the three single-wash packages and inform retail guests about memberships; support member visit success and membership management.
Present the company’s Difference and train new team members using approved training modules.
Complete the nightly close-down checklist, daily shift report, and daily operational tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized car wash facility, including equipment, walls, trench, vacuums, trash cans, and lot.
Learn to safely open and close the car wash with leadership; use ladders safely and engage emergency stops while cleaning.
Follow backroom safety practices and learn equipment procedures.
Follow company policies, procedures, safety standards, codes of conduct, and Champion safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, and harsh chemicals.
Attend mandatory training sessions and team meetings.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
