Budtender Full Time (EveryDay Weed)
About The Position
As a Budtender at Every Day Weed, you provide exceptional customer service, share product knowledge, and create a welcoming, educational shopping experience. You help customers make informed choices by learning their preferences and offering personalized recommendations, including information about product effects and safe consumption. You also maintain an appealing store environment, process sales and cash transactions, stay current on products and regulations, follow company policies and applicable laws, and work collaboratively with the team to support store operations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in cash handling and accurate basic math calculations.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more multiple times per day.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in Colorado.
- Schedule varies according to business needs; stores operate seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers professionally and listen to their preferences and needs.
- Provide product insights and personalized recommendations based on customer preferences and intended use.
- Educate customers about cannabis products, potential effects, benefits, and safe consumption methods.
- Keep the store neat and visually appealing, with organized product displays.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product releases, and evolving regulations.
- Handle cash transactions and use the point-of-sale system to process sales.
- Follow company policies and procedures and comply with state and local regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, customer-focused work environment.
- Support the Management Team with store activities, customer assistance, checkouts, and cash handling.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Management Team.
