About The Position

JARS Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Budtender for its Phoenix Airport location. The company is open to training candidates in cannabis products and industry knowledge, and offers an opportunity to develop customer service and sales skills and grow within the company. The role involves assisting patients and customers, maintaining a clean and organized dispensary, and completing tasks assigned by management.

This is a full-time position requiring at least 30 hours per week. The schedule is five days of eight-hour shifts with two days off, and candidates must have open availability to work morning, mid, and closing shifts, as well as holidays. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass standard and fingerprint background checks.

Requirements

• Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
• Open availability to work morning and evening shifts and holidays without schedule restraints.
• Able to work a minimum of 30 hours each week.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for a minimum of eight hours daily.
• Comfortable using a computer for the duration of the shift.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Committed to maintaining a clean workspace.
• Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
• Able to move and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Personal smartphone required; iPhone must run iOS 14 or later, or Android must run OS 4.4 or later.
• At least 21 years old.
• Must pass a standard background check and undergo a fingerprint background check.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience in retail or food-service roles, such as Starbucks or Target.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly assistance and recommendations on cannabis products to patients and customers.
• Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for new and returning clientele.
