About The Position

The Budtender provides customer service to patients and customers, educates them about cannabis and cannabis-infused products, and accurately processes and dispenses products. The role also involves completing required paperwork, maintaining inventory and store cleanliness, and operating the point-of-sale system. The position reports directly to the Dispensary Manager, with additional oversight from the Assistant Dispensary Manager and Dispensary Shift Supervisors.

Requirements

Be proactive, have a strong work ethic, and pay close attention to detail.
Have organizational and time management skills.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
Pass all required background checks.
Be able to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
Remain fully compliant with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
Frequently move up to 30 pounds of equipment, materials, or product; move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Be able to remain stationary or move for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Retail experience preferred.
Cannabis knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide each patient/customer with best-in-class customer service.
Ensure all forms and other paperwork are properly completed.
Comply with state regulations and company standard practices and procedures.
Educate patients/customers about varieties of cannabis and cannabis-infused products in the store.
Accurately process and dispense cannabis to customers/patients.
Stock and restock product.
Count available product inventory at designated times.
Maintain the cleanliness of display cases and the store.
Operate the POS system and process payments efficiently and accurately.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
