Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience specifically managing external broker networks or intermediary partnerships (Channel Sales).
  • Proven history of increasing "share of wallet" and achieving revenue targets within an existing partner portfolio.
  • Deep subject matter expertise within cyber and/ or financial lines.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing formal annual growth plans for high-value partners.
  • High proficiency in delivering technical product training and workshops to large groups (in-person and virtual).
  • Ability to persuade independent partners to prioritize company products over competitors.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume portfolio by focusing resources on high-yield opportunities rather than reactive tasks.
  • Ability to read partner motivations and adapt communication styles to build long-term trust and loyalty.
  • German: business fluent / native
  • English: business fluent

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working as a broker, providing deep empathy for the partner's daily challenges.
  • Experience as a panelist or keynote speaker at industry conferences and trade shows.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary strategic interface for a portfolio of key brokerage partners, moving relationships from transactional to "preferred partner" status.
  • Develop and execute bespoke account plans for major broker partners to maximize retention and growth.
  • Own and exceed annual volume, revenue, and "share of wallet" targets within your assigned broker panel.
  • Actively monitor broker pipelines, providing support to ensure high conversion rates from initial submission to final closing.
  • Lead workshops, webinars, and technical deep-dives to ensure brokers fully understand our product unique selling points (USPs) and value propositions.
  • Work with Marketing to provide "your" brokers with the tools and sales assets they need to effectively pitch our solutions to their clients.
  • Represent the "Voice of the Broker" in internal meetings to influence our roadmap and service levels.
  • Monitor and ensure that internal service levels (response times, support) meet the expectations of our top-tier partners.
  • Continuously analyze competitor offerings (rates, technology, commissions) to ensure our value proposition remains market-leading.
