About The Position

NACOS Marine delivers advanced navigation, automation, and control systems for vessels worldwide, aiming to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability at sea. The company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join its US organization of over 60 professionals. This role, based in either Weston, FL or Harahan, LA, involves driving sales growth for Navigation, Automation, and Dynamic Positioning solutions. The Sales Manager will take full ownership of their assigned territory, focusing on the East Coast, West Coast of the United States and Canada, and the Great Lakes region. Responsibilities include managing existing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities, overseeing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract handover, and collaborating with internal engineering, project management, and product teams. This is a hands-on, independent sales role requiring a proactive approach, strong market knowledge, and the ability to operate effectively in an international environment. The role offers a high degree of ownership, exposure to international markets, and the opportunity to shape and expand the company's presence across North America.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the maritime industry, ideally in navigation, automation, or dynamic positioning solutions
  • Strong network within the marine sector and understanding of key market stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage sales activities independently and deliver results
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience working in multicultural and international environments
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 50–60%) within the United States and Canada
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships across the maritime sector
  • Drive order intake in line with sales targets, including profitability and margin objectives
  • Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry through to contract handover
  • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting via CRM tools
  • Prepare and coordinate customer quotations and proposals in collaboration with internal teams
  • Ensure contract quality and compliance with company policies and requirements
  • Actively manage risks associated with sales opportunities and projects
  • Support customer communication during project execution in cooperation with Sales Support and internal teams
  • Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction through consistent engagement and follow-up
