We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join our growing team at NACOS Marine in the USA. The ideal candidate will have an established network and proven track record in the maritime sector. You will drive sales growth within your assigned territory by managing existing and new customers actively promoting our core product solutions within navigation, automation, and dynamic positioning. This is an independent, proactive hands-on sales role with no leadership responsibilities. Territory Primary focus will be the Gulf coast region. However, for the right candidate, the territory can be adjusted based on your existing network and industry connections.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience in the maritime sector, with an emphasis on marine navigation, automation, and dynamic positioning solutions
  • Established network within the maritime industry and deep understanding of market dynamics
  • Proven ability to manage sales independently and effectively in a remote role
  • Experience working with products like our products
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to thrive in multicultural and international work environments
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50-60%, primarily within the United States
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Grow market share and generate sales leads through proactive outreach and relationship management
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports using CRM tools
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the maritime industry
  • Collaborate with internal teams (project management, engineering, product management) to prepare customer quotations and proposals
  • Ensure smooth handover of opportunities into contracted orders
  • Maintain contract quality and compliance with company policies
  • Actively manage risks in assigned projects
  • Provide customer support and communication for ongoing projects in collaboration with Sales Support
