About The Position
Dutch Bros Coffee is hiring a Broista in Lancaster, California. This is a fast-paced, high-energy, physically demanding customer-service role in which you will connect with customers, make drinks, and help create a welcoming and positive experience. Broistas spend much of their shifts on their feet, moving quickly and serving a steady flow of customers; shifts may last up to 10 hours. The role calls for a people-oriented, adaptable, team-focused, positive, and reliable person who is committed to learning and improving. Dutch Bros provides training, certifications, and knowledge tests. The company describes opportunities for growth in its shops, headquarters, Emerging Talent Program, and warehouse and fulfillment operations. Compensation is $20.00 per hour in base pay plus an average of $3.50 per hour in tips; actual tips may vary and are not guaranteed.
Requirements
- Be able to work on your feet and move quickly in a fast-paced environment, serving a steady flow of customers for shifts of up to 10 hours.
- Be prepared to work in varying weather conditions, including rain or shine.
- Be able to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 65 pounds.
- Have reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings.
- Be adaptable, quick, team-oriented, positive, considerate, reliable, and committed to growth and improvement.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, make genuine connections, and help ensure each visit is kind and enjoyable.
- Help customers navigate the menu and discover drinks they may enjoy.
- Prepare high-quality drinks efficiently in a busy shop.
- Represent Dutch Bros values and contribute positive energy during each shift.
- Support teammates and work together to complete shop tasks.
- Arrive on time, communicate availability, and be ready to begin work at the scheduled shift time.
- Maintain a tidy workspace and follow food safety standards.
- Attend scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings.
