About The Position

A Broista helps deliver an excellent customer experience by serving customers with speed, quality, and service while following Dutch Bros. standards. The role includes preparing drinks, helping customers choose products, maintaining a clean and orderly shop, supporting a positive shift atmosphere, and contributing to the Dutch Bros. West Valley culture and mission. Broistas must meet the role’s availability, physical, communication, and employment conditions.

Requirements

Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and within the hourly requirements listed on the availability form.
Work a minimum of three shifts per week.
Proficiently hear, read, write, and speak English.
Be comfortable handling cash and performing mental math on the fly.
Meet the physical demands of the job and conditions of employment.
Obtain a current Arizona Food Handlers Card certification after hiring.
Successfully complete onboarding training.
Make drinks according to corporate standards and pass a Flow Test.

Responsibilities

Provide each customer with a unique moment of special and an incredible customer experience.
Engage, greet, and thank every customer with a smile and communicate respectfully and courteously.
Make drinks to Dutch Bros. standards and deliver exactly what customers order.
Educate customers about the menu, products, and current specials, and help them find what they want to order.
Follow Dutch Bros. appearance guidelines and arrive on time, ready to serve customers.
Maintain an excellent atmosphere and shift vibe and be a good teammate.
Keep the shop sparkling clean and maintain a clean, orderly working environment.
Attend mandatory meetings and follow company policies and procedures in the Mafia Manifesto and Employee Handbook.
Use the Broista standard checklist and manifesto for guidance on role responsibilities and procedures.
Stay calm during high-volume periods or unusual stress, anticipate customer and shop needs, and bring problems requiring attention to supervisors.
Regularly check Band feeds and chats to stay informed.
Promote the culture and mission of Dutch Bros. West Valley.
