About The Position

We are seeking an experienced broadband deployment installer/repairer to join the Operations Team at a family-owned company. The position involves installing, maintaining, and servicing broadband network and related equipment, including cable, subscriber carrier systems, terminals, protection devices, and customer-owned equipment. The role may also involve diagnosing and repairing switching equipment, voice frequency repeaters, loop extenders, cable loading systems, and other broadband equipment.

The installer/repairer typically installs drop wires, station protectors, and network interface devices, and performs initial wiring or rewiring for new subscriber systems. The role also performs internal locating services for Rally Networks for required 811 tickets. Frequent travel throughout Missouri is required. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn new skills while working with a team of trained and motivated professionals.

Requirements

• Experience in outside plant maintenance, central office telecom work, and fiber optic broadband projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service broadband networks, cable, subscriber carrier systems, terminals, protection devices, and customer-owned equipment.
• Diagnose and repair switching equipment, voice frequency repeaters, loop extenders, cable loading systems, and other broadband equipment as needed.
• Install drop wires, station protectors, and network interface devices.
• Perform initial wiring or rewiring for new subscriber systems.
• Perform internal locating services for Rally Networks for required 811 tickets.
• Travel frequently throughout Missouri.
