About The Position

This position is responsible for the overall finishing operation of furniture, including repair, spraying, detailing, highlighting, sanding, and distressing. The Finish Repairer repairs major finishing defects on high-end quality furniture, maintains inventory, and orders materials from Mohawk. The role requires following all safety policies and procedures and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in finish repair of high-quality casegoods furniture.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist throughout the day.
• Ability to perform frequent repetitive motions requiring grasping, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to use feet repetitively to operate controls.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Perform wood finishing work, including repair, burn-ins, spraying, detailing, highlighting, sanding, and distressing.
• Keep up with inventory and order materials from Mohawk.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
