About The Position

The Brick Specialist (Sales Associate) delivers inspirational retail experiences to LEGO fans of all ages in an interactive, vibrant store environment. The role involves greeting guests, providing friendly and engaging service, operating the cash register, maintaining a clean and visually stimulating store, and supporting stockroom operations. Brick Specialists help resolve guest issues, communicate with team members and guests, and use promotional materials and loyalty programs. The position is part-time and seasonal at the LEGO Brand Retail store at Legacy Place in Dedham, Massachusetts. Availability must cover up to 25 hours per week across at least three days, including at least one weekend day; being scheduled for 25 hours is not required. Work may include various hours, days, nights, and weekends according to business needs.

Requirements

• Provide availability for up to 25 hours per week, spanning at least three days and including at least one weekend day.
• Be able to access all areas of the store, including the sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock.
• Be able to move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand for at least two consecutive hours.
• Be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
• Have close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest and provide professional, gracious, friendly, and engaging service.
• Perform all cash register functions and process information and merchandise through the register system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and visually stimulating store by completing daily cleaning duties and maintaining displays in accordance with LEGO Brand Retail visual standards.
• Assist with receiving merchandise and maintain the stockroom to LEGO Brand Retail standards.
• Follow safety regulations and notify management of potential shortage situations.
• Resolve customer issues and report challenging situations to a manager.
• Engage customers and use promotional materials and loyalty programs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Work various hours, days, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate.
