About The Position

A Brewista supports 7 Brew’s mission to inspire a community of kindness through a revolutionary coffee experience. Reporting to the stand manager, the Brewista serves customers, prepares drinks and premixes, takes orders and payments, and keeps the stand clean, stocked, and running smoothly. The role emphasizes prompt service, genuine and uplifting customer interactions, kindness toward teammates and customers, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. The position is based at a coffee shop in Neosho, Missouri. Brewistas work a flexible schedule for a minimum of three shifts per week. Shifts are five hours, with regular weekend work and availability for holidays when necessary. The role involves working outdoors for prolonged periods in varying weather, standing for hours, and performing physical tasks around the stand and drive-through.

Requirements

Able to create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to five minutes at a time.
Able to work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products.
Able to work outdoors for prolonged periods regardless of weather conditions.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand comfortably for hours at a time.
Able to climb a ladder and use a stepladder.
Able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to stock and clean the stand.
Able to walk safely between and around cars in the drive-through line.
Able to use a utility knife safely.
Able to work a flexible schedule and a minimum of three shifts per week.
Regularly works weekends and is available to work holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

Confirm customer drink orders and enter them accurately into the point-of-sale system.
Collect payments and accurately count back change.
Prepare drinks and premixes.
Work with urgency and remain productive and proactive throughout each shift, including during slow periods.
Build personal connections with customers through genuine interactions, warm smiles, and positive body language.
Know the menu and drink offerings and help customers identify and order drinks they want, offering suggestions when appropriate.
Dress appropriately for the assigned position and bring a positive, professional presence to work.
Learn and perform shift-change duties, checklists, and weekly chores as needed.
Be clocked in and ready at the assigned position when the shift begins.
Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and sanitation regulations.
Follow company procedures for communicating time-off requests.
