About The Position

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, is seeking an experienced Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Breast Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary cancer care team. The role offers the opportunity to join an established and growing breast surgery program at a Commission on Cancer Accredited institution, with access to advanced care, clinical trials, and a collaborative practice environment. The position involves a full-spectrum breast surgery practice and offers opportunities for clinical research, teaching, and mentorship within the ACGME-accredited General Surgery Residency Program. The surgeon will work with fellowship-trained breast surgeons, plastic reconstructive surgeons, advanced practice providers, and a multidisciplinary cancer care team. The program includes a high-risk breast clinic, survivorship programs, breast nurse navigators, weekly multidisciplinary Breast Tumor Board, and supportive services. Epic EMR is used for communication across departments. Call responsibilities are described as minimal, with a strong support infrastructure.

Requirements

MD degree.
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in breast surgery.
Formal fellowship training in Breast Surgery and/or Surgical Oncology.
Experience as a breast surgeon.

Responsibilities

Provide full-spectrum breast surgery care.
Participate in clinical research and teaching opportunities within the ACGME-accredited General Surgery Residency Program.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary cancer care team and participate in the weekly Breast Tumor Board.
